Position: IT Project Manager (SAP - Manufacturing
client request US citizen, greencard or EAD may consider TN visa
IT Project Manager (SAP - Manufacturing) possible 10% travel
SUMMARY Provide project management guidance and administrative directions to
employees working on IT related projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities SPECIFICE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: -
Experience with SAP . - Previous experience working with manufactuing
applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned. .Build awareness of customer and marketplace demands for
particular features, capabilities and services. .Interface with the
customer, suppliers and project sponsor(s). .Support corporate
initiatives. .Obtain and summarize current project information and milestone
status versus project performance baseline. .Maintain project
schedules. .Drive project tasks to completion in accordance with the project
schedule. .Report status and other metrics related to an assigned project to
PMO. .Coordinate the efforts of the team to develop an integrated project
plan and risk analysis with action plans to mitigate the risks. .Serve as a
major contributor to the development of project plans.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or computer
related discipline required. 16+ credit hours of project management courses
or equivalent. 1 to 2 years experience as a team lead or project
coordinator. Demonstrated awareness of all nine areas of project management
(BMPOK) with a firm understanding of at least two.
